Need some input on something I was discussing with another person. So even though I no longer officially debate vs. battles, I do give my two cents on occasion, and I have a rule. That if there is a battle or a feat of strength or speed that isn't consistant with the character's usual portrayal, like say, they typically fight relatively realistic characters but then at one point they defeat a man who can flatten an entire city with his fists. If there's no explanation for why they're suddenly on par with this character and never again for the rest of the story do they demonstrate power on that scale, it should be treated as bad writing that isn't indicative of the character's actual intended level of power, most likely the writer just getting too carried away. My friend meanwhile said that ALL feats should be seriously considered, even if they're inconsistent with the character's typical level of power. My question is where personally do you draw the line between a feat being

So Twisted Metal is finally rising from the grave with a TV show, huh? About time people remembered that series existed. Gotta admit, I'm intrigued.

Batman story idea. Guy figures out Bruce Wayne is Batman, spends months training his body and martial arts, invests ridiculous sums on weapons to counter all of Batman's equipment, gets EMP weapons to disable all bat vehicles, and even comes up with a means of ensuring the Batchildren are not at Wayne Manor at the time of his attack, and then immediately dies before getting anywhere near Bruce because he didn't account for a single butler with a shotgun.

Okay, quick question: Is it Holy Magic in KH or is it Light Magic? And if there's two different versions, what is it?

Light is the "good" force of nature that counters darkness and is Sora and Mickey's main source of power, Holy is a spell that does light damage. The Kingdom Hearts games borrow a lot of elements from Final Fantasy, so a lot of the spells carry over too. It's also known as Pearl or Faith in the games. It appears as either a pillar of light that explodes out of the ground or as homing projectiles.

But for the overall source of power, it's just called The Light.

So it's not necessarily holy magic. It's just light magic?

Well, I suppose you could say they're largely the same thing, but outside of the Hunchback of Notre Dame level in Dream Drop Distance, religion hasn't really been referenced in Kingdom Hearts, so it's a little on the ambiguous side compared to something like Castlevania.

No clue why, but my notes aren't going through.
Hmm. New conversation. If King from Tekken got into Death Battle, who would you like to see him up against?
Probably Bass from DOA or Big Bear from Fatal Fury. Zangief is too powerful I'd think. Wolf Hawkfield and El Blaze and Jeffery McWilds from Virtua Fighter.

Or if you want to go outside of the box, you've got Volt Kruger from the Bouncer.
